To whom it may concern,
As the parents of Matthew, who attends the Bubbly Bear Daycare nursery, we would like to take this opportunity to give you our view on the nursery and staff.
Matthew is currently 19 months old and started attending nursery in January 2015 at the Lakeside nursery at the David Lloyd centre at Cheadle Royal. It was here that he was first introduced to Mrs Amanda Wenham (current manager of Bubbly Bear Daycare) and Mrs Natalie Rowe-Eyres (Current Assistant Manager).
Following the closure of Lakeside nursery, we jumped at the opportunity to move Matthew to the new Bubbly Bear Daycare to be managed and staffed by Amanda and Natalie. Given their professionalism, passion and the fantastic care they both provide Matthew the decision was very simple indeed.
Our son clearly enjoys the time he spends at the Bubbly Bear DayCare (it can be quite difficult to extract him at the end of the day!). He is happy to go there in the mornings and always has a big smile on his face the evening. The staff follows a very similar routine than we do at home and they respect all his little habits for sleeping, food and play. The summary reportthey provide every day clearly show that the staff creates new activities for the children on a regular basis. Our son really likes the variety of activities, specially the messy ones as we can see from the pictures supplied by the nursery to us.
Given the obvious passion and the professionalism of Amanda’s team, we are confident than our son is in safe hands and that his time at the nursery is fantastic foundation essential for his development.

I approached bubbly bear nursery in September 2015 as I was in need of childcare for my 6 month old son and my 7 year old. What appealed to me the most was the warm welcome I received from the nursery manager Amanda and the baby room supervisor Natalie. They both showed me around the nursery and explained in detail the services they provided. I was immediately drawn to the warm and homely atmosphere of the nursery. The rooms were decorated appropriately and the facilities they provided were adequate.
I was happy to be told that they would be able to collect my eldest son from school and look after him as both myself and my partner work. I was given dates for settling in sessions and both my sons were looked after and cared for really well. The meals they provide are varied and nutritious.
My sons attend three times a week and are always very excited and happy to go to bubbly bear nursery. My now 11 month old has gained so many new skills including his motor skills, which have improved so much over the last few months. He has adapted very well to the nursery and is much more confident. He is being taught how to eat independently and the staff always makes sure he has a varied and fun day. I am really happy I chose bubbly bear nursery for childcare, the staff are so pleasant with the children and they are very approachable and polite. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to any parents looking for childcare.
We are a family from Poland and we have no family in the area, we needed childcare for our little girl and were worried as her first language is not English. We looked around Bubbly Bear and straight away new this is where are little girl would come, Natalie and Megan from the baby room have made our little girl so happy and also have helped her with learning new words in English but also have key words from our own language that they use with her. Me and my Husband can’t thank the nursery enough for all their support and would recommend the nursery to all parents.
My little boy Jack has been attending the nursery for 4 months now, he is always excited to arrive and get involved in exciting and messy activities the nursery provides. Jack is always keen to share his experiences at home and talks about the staff all the time, Jack talks about his key person Ashlee in everything he does and even calls her his ‘ best friend’. As a full time working mum this gives me reassurance that my child is happy, safe and feels very secure at the nursery.
I had a heart aching feeling of leaving my first baby at nursery at only 9 months old, I visited a number of nurseries and just didn’t get the reassurance I was looking for. Then I called Amanda and straight away her warm loving nature drew me to the nursery. Amanda gave me and my baby a show round of the nursery and straight away it felt like home. All the staff made us both feel so welcome and I just knew in my heart it was the right settling for my baby to attend. Even tho the nursery has not been open for long all staff looked organised and all the children were very happy.
